Yes. A referral letter's validity is determined by the doctor who signs it - not how the consultation was conducted. Our doctors hold full GMC registration, so our letters carry the same legal weight as one from your local GP. Private specialists and hospitals throughout UK routinely accept them.
Most referral letters are reviewed and issued within a few hours during working hours. In some cases up to 24 hours. You'll receive an email when your letter is ready to download.
No. You can come straight to us. Previous test results or GP notes are helpful but not required.
Yes. Our doctors exercise full clinical judgement on every referral. If your symptoms don't support the referral, the doctor may decline. You'll receive a clear explanation and a full refund.
CT and X-Ray involve ionising radiation. Clinical guidelines require a doctor to be satisfied the imaging is clinically justified before referring - which needs a live conversation. MRI also requires discussion of contraindications. A short video consultation covers this and means the letter states it followed live clinical assessment.
Randox Health, Nuffield Health, Alliance Medical and most independent private labs accept our letters. The questionnaire shows the restricted public hospital list before you pay.
Yes. You can name a specific consultant or clinic in the questionnaire and the letter will be addressed directly to them. If you don't have a specific name, we address it to the relevant department or leave it open.
Yes. Our letters are signed PDFs with the doctor's full name, GMC number and contact details - standard GP format. Spire, Bupa, HCA Healthcare and other private facilities accept them.
